here we go again.

These stories will never go away, will they? From the cornfields of Nebraska, reported all the way across the Pond:

Las Vegas gambler sues Caesars Palace claiming casino plied him with drugs

A Las Vegas gambler who lost $112 million (£67 million) in a year, is suing the owner of Caesars Palace, claiming casino staff "milked" him by plying him with alcohol and prescription drugs. Read more.

Has anyone seen the Albert Brooks movie Lost In America? I'm reminded of that.

The complainant's lawyer alleges Harrah's is to blame because "Mr. Watanabe was an obvious gambling addict."

Sorry, Mr. O'Donnell, as a dealer and floor supervisor, I don't have the ability to see the addiction on 'em.

Not to be callous, but at some point, personal responsibility needs to kick in.

got a whole lotta money that's ready to burn...

Las Vegas, here I come!

This is not a drill! Repeat! This is not a drill!

What: lasvegas2k7...trip #10 to the desert
When: Thursday, 28 June 07 - Monday, 02 July 07
Where: Harrah's, on the Strip
Why: Because I miss it, I love it. I can't get enough of it.

Perhaps this time around I'll actually float a resume or three to some folks on The Strip. I'm sure there's a marketing office onsite at Harrah's, right? Or perhaps my good friend Steve Wynn would hire me on the spot, no?

Okay, so Steve Wynn and I aren't really friends, but you never know.

This is my first time staying at Harrah's. I don't dislike the ol' Imperial Palace, but I'm ready to upgrade a bit.

One thing I look forward to the most? Drinks with my friend Heather at one of the lounges at the Wynn. Always a good time.

I'm not sure how much I'll gamble this year, but I plan on hitting some of the nightlife.

As of tomorrow, I'm in training. Woo hoo!
